The VHS Band will present their annual Solo & Chamber Ensemble Recital, Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 PM in the VHS Band Room. The show is free and open to the public.

The Valdosta High School Jazz Ensemble performs at the prestigious GMEA In-Serice Conference,
Congratulations to the Valdosta High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Andrew Hill for being selected to perform at the 2024 Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference in Athens, GA. The performance took place on Friday, January 26, 2024 and was a roaring success.

Senior clarinet player Dennis Savoie traveled to New York to perform with the WorldStrides Honor Orchestra at the world famous Carnegie Hall. He was accompanied by his entire family who also got to enjoy the experience.
The ensemble was chosen among the top high school musicians in the country.

This year the VHS Band had 19 students that participated in the Georgia Music Educators Association District 8 Honor Band, These students auditioned for spots in the ensemble that includes students from across the South Georgia region.
The Honor band was held in beautiful St. Simons Island.
